Mr. Nitin Mankar is a Senior Image analyst at the UXO, India. He completed M.Sc. Geoinformatics from University of Pune, Pune. He has completed research on “Spatio Temporal Analysis in Daund Tahsil from Geography Department of Pune University, under the guidance of Dr. B.C. Vaidya. He was working with TomTom India Pvt. Ltd., as Digital Cartographer. He has completed an advanced training course on “Geoweb Services – Technology and Applications” conducted by IIRS, Dehradun and has presented paper entitled “Problem of agriculture in Pargaon village”, in the National Seminar on Problem and Prospect of Agricultural Development in India organized by Department of Geography, Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Collage, Kolhapur, Hupari. He has expertise in project planning, ArcGIS 10.4, ERDAS Imagine 2018, Google sketch-up, Pix4D, Autodesk Map 5, ArcView GIS 3.2a, and open source GIS software.

Sanjeev Kumar
Sr. Image Analyst

Sanjeev Kumar is a Senior Image analyst at the UXO, India. He completed his Bachelor degree (2011) from University of Calicut, Kerala and Masters (2013) from Bangalore University, Karnataka in Geography. His master’s project was entitled “Demographic Aspects of Kerala State”. Before joining the UXO, he joined as a trainee at Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) ISRO, Dehradun for mid-career training course on Geoinformation science and Earth Observation with specialization in Geoinformatics (JEP of IIRS and ITC, Netherlands). During his post graduate diploma (2013-2014) at IIRS he developed a project entitled “WebGIS Based Multimode Road Transportation System for Dehradun City” and also published in Computer Science and Applications, 2014, Volume 1, Number 5, pp. 293-302.

His area of interest includes Urban Sprawl Modelling, Digital Image Processing, Spatial-Temporal Analysis and Transportation.

Seema Shingade
Web Map Developer

Seema Shingade working as Webmap Developer in Urban Expansion Observatory (UXO). She has completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Information Technology (IT) from the University of Pune in 2016. She has expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Postgresql, PostGIS Geoserver, Git Version Control and different web mapping API’S like leaflet, Open layers, D3, Mapbox and mapboxGL. she also has experience in server installation, configuration and deployments on Microsoft azure and AWS.

Suyog Jadhav
Web Map Developer

Suyog Dinesh Jadhav is Web Developer at Urban Expansion Observatory (UXO), Navi Mumbai. He obtained his bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Information Technology (IT) from Pillai College of Arts, Commerce, and Science. He has done his project on “Rent a car-Website”. He did a Six-month internship at Urban Expansion Observatory (UXO), where he worked on website MyEdmate.com server-side scripting and He has Expertise in PHP, Node JS, PostgresSQL, PostGIS, MySQL, Android, Java, JavaScript, Mapbox GL and Python.

Kalpana Pardeshi
Analyst

Miss. Kalpana Pardeshi is a postgraduate in M.Sc. (Geoinformatics) from University of Pune, Pune. She obtained her postgraduate degree in M.A. (Geography) from University of Pune. She also has completed an advanced course on “Geoweb Services-Technology and Applications” conducted by IIRS (Indian Institute of Remote Sensing) on March 2013. She has good command in various software such as ArcGIS 9.3, ERDAS Imagine 9.2, ArcView GIS 3.2a, Autodesk Map 5, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-Geo-RAS toolbar. She has awareness of equipment such as Garmin GPS-72. She has delivered expert lectures at National Water Academy, Pune. She has attended and presented papers at various national conferences. Her areas of interest include Coastal and Applied Geomorphology, Flood Modeling, Watershed Management, Drought, Applications of Remote Sensing and GIS.

Sagar Gawade

Mr. Sagar Gawade obtained his M.A. degree in Geography from University of Pune, Pune. Subsequently, he obtained his postgraduate degree in M.Sc. (Geoinformatics) from University of Pune, Pune. He also has completed an advanced course on “Geoweb Services-Technology and Applications” conducted by IIRS (Indian Institute of Remote Sensing) on March 2013. He has completed an advanced diploma in Computer Designing, Accounting and Programming. He has attended and presented papers in various national conferences and has delivered expert lectures at National Water Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune. He has expertise in GIS and RS applications in Water, Land Use Land Cover, Electricity Mapping and Road Mapping. In addition to above, he has good profeciency in various software such as ArcGIS 9.3, ERDAS Imagine 9.2, Autodesk Map 5, ArcView GIS 3.2a, HEC-RAS, HEC-Geo-RAS, HEC-HMS.

Aseem Shaikh
Image Analyst

Aseem Shaikh completed M.Sc. Geoinformatics from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune and B.Sc. in Physics from Mumbai University. He has completed research on “Real estate valuation using GIS, Pune City”. He was working with Maharashtra Remote Space Application Center (MRSAC), Pune as intern and worked on network analysis for pune district as tourism purpose. As intern he worked on government projects PMGSY, Jal Yuket Shivar, Regional planning for Maharashtra state. He honour with “Best Student Project Award 2016 ISG Pune Chapter” – SMART CITIES AND GEO-ICT INITIATIVE – GEOVISION 2016 by ISG, Pune chapter. He has expertise in remote sensing and GIS Software such as ArcMap, ERDAS, QGIS and good practical experience on 3D analysis.

Sarvesha Bhandarkar

Sarvesha Bhandarkar is an Image Analyst at UXO, India. She is a postgraduate in Geoinformatics (MSc) from Symbiosis Institute of Geoinformatics, Pune. She did her project dissertation on ‘Web Application Development for Crime Analysis usin Geospatial Techniques and Spatial Databases’.Previously, she was working as a Trainee Analyst at Avalara Technologies, Pune and has done an internship at India Meteorological Department (IMD), Pune on the title ‘Creation of Web GIS Dynamic Maps using Open Source Softwares and Spatial Databases’. She has completed IIRS Off-Campus Outreach Certificate Programme on ‘Microwave Radar Remote Sensing and Its Applications’.

Tejas Jambhale
Image Analyst

Tejas Kiran Jambhale is an Image Analyst at Urban Expansion Observatory (UXO), Navi Mumbai. He obtained his bachelor degree (B.Tech.) in Urban Planning from College of Engineering Pune (COEP). He has done his thesis on “urbanization and increased disaster vulnerability” case study of Pune City. He did a four month internship at Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA), where he worked on block development plan of Ner tehsil of Yavatmal District and Climate resilient agriculture project (NDKSP) of government of Maharashtra. He was head of NSS unit COEP.

Ayesha Chikte

Ayesha Chikte is working as a Web & Graphics Designer at Urban Expansion Observatory (UXO) with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, CSS and JavaScript. She has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Pillai College, New Panvel. Along with this, she is also pursuing a Business Administration degree from MIT, Pune.
