Manuel Madrid is a Project Manager at the gvSIG Association, a non-profit organization which main objective is the promotion of the Open Geospatial Technologies. He completed his Master in Valuation, Cadastre and Territorial Information Systems at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (Spain). He also completed a Bachelor in Survey Ingineering at the Universitat Politèctica de Valencia (Spain). His research interests include Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial, Cartography and Urban Planning.
